Upon choosing a program, it’s crucial to carefully review the terms and conditions, as your reservation will be governed by these specified rules. Making a payment for any program or trip through “69 Explorer” indicates your acceptance and commitment to abide by these terms, which apply to all tours.
General Information:
Itinerary changes for programs might be necessary due to weather, river conditions, or group preferences. “69 Explorer” is not responsible for any loss or damage to personal property, nor for the consequences of such. We are not liable for illnesses or accidents related to the tour, and clients will cover these expenses. Clients are also responsible for any equipment borrowed and must compensate for any damages or losses before returning to Cusco. Clients should confirm their physical and mental fitness, with “69 Explorer” not accountable for any inaccuracies in these confirmations.
Reservation Steps:
Contact us for guidance before making any payment. To book your preferred program, a non-refundable deposit of 50% per participant is required. Completing your payment signifies a binding agreement with “69 Explorer,” and your booking will be confirmed upon our written acknowledgment.
For the initial 50% deposit, payment methods include WESTERN UNION, PAYPAL, or other online options. Clients are responsible for any bank fees or transfer charges.
Payment of Final Balance:
All prices are in U.S. dollars. Please pay the remaining balance at our office at least one day before your tour in Peruvian soles, U.S. dollars, or via Visa (subject to an 8% fee). The price per person agreed upon at the time of booking remains fixed.
Client Cancellation:
To cancel, send a written notice to “69 Explorer.” The initial deposit is not refundable. Check your insurance for potential coverage for cancellation reasons.
Cancellations more than 15 days before departure result in a 50% deposit forfeiture. For cancellations between 7 and 15 days before departure, if full payment has been made, 50% of the total cost will be refunded. No refunds are given for cancellations less than 48 hours before departure or for partial tour cancellations.
Alterations/Cancellations by Us:
In the event of unforeseen circumstances such as technical issues, adverse weather, strikes, government actions, or civil disturbances, “69 Explorer” will try to provide alternative arrangements or equivalent trips, without offering refunds. Itinerary adjustments may be necessary, but we will aim to maintain the agreed services.
Significant changes will be communicated before your trip, with comparable alternative plans offered. Any additional costs from these changes are the client’s responsibility. We cannot compensate for expenses like international flights, visas, vaccinations, etc.
If “69 Explorer” cancels a tour, a full refund will be provided.
Acknowledging Potential Risks:
Our tours are designed to offer genuine experiences, which may naturally involve risks such as injury, emotional distress, or even death. Participants acknowledge these risks and confirm their health and physical preparedness by joining. “69 Explorer” bears no responsibility for accidents or injuries.
Tour Leadership:
The guide or company representative has ultimate authority on safety and group well-being. Following their directives and adhering to Peru’s drug laws is obligatory. Behavior compromising group safety may lead to expulsion from the tour without a refund.
Required Documentation:
Valid passports are necessary, and carrying the original or a copy during excursions is recommended.
Insurance for Travelers:
We highly recommend comprehensive travel insurance that covers accidents, medical expenses, emergency repatriation, travel disruptions, and baggage loss.
Partnership with External Providers:
“69 Explorer” collaborates with various entities like airlines and hotels to offer a complete experience. These independent third-party providers are not under our control, and we are not liable for any delays or inconveniences they might cause.
Claims and Complaints:
If issues with services arise, notify the guide immediately. Further complaints should be submitted in writing to the company within a week after the tour.
Disputes are settled exclusively in Cusco, Peru, under Peruvian Law. Claims against “69 Explorer” are limited to the value of the disputed item, excluding indirect losses or lost profit opportunities.
