Upon arrival at Paracas, we board a boat for a 2-hour excursion to the Ballestas Islands. In the islands are home to sea lions, Humboldt penguins and seabirds.
Back on land we’ll spend about 1.5 hours exploring the Paracas National Reserve. We’ll make a stop at natural viewpoints like La Catedral cliffs, Playa Yumaque and Playa Roja, before enjoying lunch beside the coast. After lunch we continue with a 1.5–2 hours drive inland toward Huacachina.
Arriving at the Huacachina Oasis, you’ll have time to savor the lagoon’s calm before embarking on a 1-hour dune buggy ride across massive sand dunes. Following there will be sandboarding down the slopes. As the sun lowers, we stay overnight and rest ready for the next day’s journey.
After breakfast we depart early and travel for roughly 2–3 hours toward the Nazca region. We’ll arrive at the Nazca aerodrome where you’ll board a small aircraft for a 30-45 minutes flight over the Nazca Lines.
