Enjoy the first day hiking to Singrenacocha Lake, a hidden gem among the mountains. Finally, finish the journey at the viewpoint of the 7 Lakes and their colorful water formations that will surely amaze you.

Itinerary

Today, our adventure will start early from your hotel. We will pick you up at 5:00 AM and travel towards Ocongate, located in the southern part of Cusco, until we reach the small village of Pampacancha where we will start the hike.

You will enjoy a delicious box breakfast that we have prepared for you on the way. From the starting point, it will be a moderate hike to the viewpoint of the beautiful Singrenacocha Lake. The guide will be there to give you information about the place and lead a small gratitude ceremony to thank the mountains for allowing us to arrive.

After your visit, you will return to Pacchanta where your belongings and our cook will be waiting to serve you a delicious lunch. You will then have a free afternoon to relax in the natural hot springs of the area.

The highlight is the incredible and comfortable domes that will allow you to rest peacefully in a comfortable hotel bed, with hot showers and Wi-Fi.

At night, dinner will be served in our dining room. The guide will confirm the itinerary for the following day, and you will be ready to rest in a hotel under a thousand stars.

  • Accommodation: Pacchanta Sky Domes
  • Meals: Breakfast, lunch, and dinner

Your guide will wake you up with a hot tea in your dome so you can have breakfast and start the day. Carry only what is necessary for this day of hiking.

From here to the 7 lakes viewpoint, you will hike almost 16 kilometers through pure natural beauty among the mountains and local wildlife. The trail will take you through untouched and pristine areas around Ausangate. Upon arrival, you will see lakes such as:

Pucacocha Lake, named for its reddish color.

Then, you will pass by Patacocha and Alqaqocha before finally reaching the turquoise lakes of Qomercocha and Orco Otorongo (which has a shape similar to a well-known wild cat from the Peruvian jungle).

After seeing all these wonderful water formations, you will return to Pacchanta to enjoy a delicious and refreshing lunch before starting the journey back to Cusco. On the return trip, you will enjoy the daytime views with sunshine and make the most of the afternoon, as you will arrive in Cusco between 4:30 PM and 5:00 PM.
